The chemical spill in Charleston has put West Virginia in the national spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Policy makers, scientists, and health professionals have an obligation to come together and ensure our water supply is protected. This event hope to bring together the state's experts and lead us in the direction of intelligent and well-educated decision-making.

ABA Section of the Environment, Energy, and Resources Fall Conference
The Fall Conference is a premier forum for learning about recent developments in the environmental, energy, and resource fields, networking with your colleagues, and meeting prominent government, industry, and private practice leaders. Visit to Dolly Sods
The 17,371 acre Dolly Sods Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest is part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. It is located in Grant, Randolph and Tucker Counties, West Virginia. The Dolly Sods Wilderness contains much of the Red Creek drainage and contains bog and heath eco-types, more commonly typical to southern Canada. Elevations range from 2,500 to over 4,700 feet.

Environmental Law Mixer
Last semester, ELS proposed to idea of having a mixer for law students interested in environmental law to meet local attorneys practicing and professors interested in environment law. The idea seemed to be a hit, so now we just need to make it happen!

Tree Planting
April 12, 2014, at the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge, there will be a tree planting event for the Central Appalachian Spruce Restoration Initiative.
